It comes in its original box from Godwin & Sons Jewellers (sic) Silversmiths & Watch Makers 304 High Holborn London. It is marked 15 carat and has been jeweler verified.

In its original case which is worn red leather, but in beautiful shape. The upper lid has imprint saying: Est 1801 Godwin & Son 304 High Holborn London W.D. It is hard to read it in the picture. My camera would not pick it up. This tie pin is beautifully made, with textured fur and tiny garnet cabochon-set eyes. No defects at all.
